When fear is running the meeting

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.”

Joshua 1:9 · ESV

Lord, fear has been making my decisions for me. It tells me not to apply, not to ask, not to speak, and I have been listening. You commanded Joshua to be strong and courageous, and You gave one reason: You would be with him wherever he went. You are with me. In the interview, in the hard conversation, in the risk. Courage is not the absence of fear. It is moving while afraid, and You are moving with me. Amen.

One step: Write down one thing fear is telling you not to do. Do a smaller version of it today, and a bigger one tomorrow.
