When tomorrow keeps invading today

“Do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.”

Father, I keep living in a day that has not arrived. I rehearse next month's bills, next week's meeting, next year's version of me, and I miss the day You actually gave me. You said tomorrow will have its own trouble and today has enough. Bring me back to today. Give me what I need for the next twenty-four hours and the faith to trust You with the rest. I hand You tomorrow again, as many times as it takes. Amen.
