When the answer is slow

“Wait for the LORD; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the LORD!”

Lord, I am waiting, and waiting is harder than working. Every day without an answer feels like a verdict. You tell me to be strong and take courage while I wait, which means waiting is not the same as doing nothing. So make me strong in it. Keep me from filling the silence with panic, and from forcing a door You have not opened. I am waiting for You, not just for the email. Amen.
