When you have a plan and no peace

“The heart of man plans his way, but the LORD establishes his steps.”

Proverbs 16:9 · ESV

Father, I have made my plans, and I keep remaking them at two in the morning. You say the heart plans the way and You establish the steps. So I will keep planning, because You made me to, but I will hold the plan loosely and the next step tightly. Show me where I am drifting. Show me where I am aiming at nothing at all. Establish what should stand, and let the rest fall away without my grief. Amen.
