When someone else is being wronged

“Open your mouth for the mute, for the rights of all who are destitute. Open your mouth, judge righteously, defend the rights of the poor and needy.”

Proverbs 31:8-9 · ESV

God, I saw it happen to someone else, and staying quiet is the safe move. You ask me to open my mouth for people who cannot. Give me the courage to speak, the wisdom to speak well, and the willingness to bear the cost. Let me be the coworker I would want. Amen.
