New Year's Day

“Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.”

Isaiah 43:18-19 · ESV

Lord, a new year. I bring You the old one, all of it, and I set it down. You are doing a new thing, whether I can see it yet or not. Open my eyes to it. Make a way where I only see wilderness. Give me the courage to start again. Amen.
