Before negotiating an offer

God, I am tempted to take the first number so I do not have to have this conversation. Give me the courage to ask well and the wisdom to know what is fair. Keep my tone gracious and my facts straight. Whatever they say, let my confidence rest in You and not in whether I won. Amen.
