When honesty will cost you

“The integrity of the upright guides them, but the crookedness of the treacherous destroys them.”

Proverbs 11:3 · ESV

Lord, telling the truth here could cost me the deal, the bonus, or the job. Everyone else is bending it. Give me the courage to be straight anyway. Let integrity be my guide even when it looks like the losing move, and let me trust You with the outcome. Amen.
