Let go right before the holidays

God, they did this in December. The timing feels cruel and I am supposed to be festive in three weeks. Be my stronghold. Hold me together for the people who need me. Help me tell my family honestly, file what needs filing, and refuse the shame that says this was my fault. You are not done with me. Amen.
