Ghosted after an interview

“When the righteous cry for help, the LORD hears and delivers them out of all their troubles.”

God, they said they would call, and they did not. The silence feels worse than a no. You hear me even when they will not answer. Keep me from spiraling into what I must have done wrong. Give me the dignity to follow up once, and the freedom to let it go if nothing comes. Amen.
