When you have enough and still want more

“But godliness with contentment is great gain, for we brought nothing into the world, and we cannot take anything out of the world. But if we have food and clothing, with these we will be content.”

Lord, I have what I once prayed for, and somehow it still does not feel like enough. Forgive the restlessness that turns every blessing into a baseline. Teach me contentment that is not complacency, and ambition that is not greed. Help me want the right things, and thank You for the ordinary things I have stopped seeing. Amen.
